Just a short post today as I will be in school getting ready.
Writing
Your task today is to find things around your house that begin with the letters of the alphabet and make a list. Starting with a and ending with z.
Example;
A=apple
B=board game
C=computer
Phonics
Today your job is to write the middle sound of these words. The pictures will help you to figure out the words.
Maths
Here are some additions facts to 10. Your challenge is to see how fast you can solve them. You may like to use a timer. Remember you can use your fingers or counters to help you.
Spot the difference
Here are 2 spot the difference. Have fun finding all the differences.
Today we are going to work on number before, number after, and number between. The last 2 columns are our basic facts to 10 and the more challenging ones to 20.
Remember you can use objects (buttons, coins etc) or your fingers to help you work them out.
If you would like a challenge use a timer. See how quickly you can complete each column!
Writing
On Mondays we normally do weekend writing. So let's continue with our weekend writing.
What did you get up to on Saturday and Sunday?
My example;
On Saturday the boys and I went on another bike ride to the Oakey Creek waterfall. It was beautiful. On the way we found this amazing tree. The boys had to climb it.
Remember to use;
a capital letter
full stop
finger spaces
listen to your sounds
2-3 ideas.
Phonics

Reading
You could choose a book from home, have a go at reading it to someone in your house. If it is too tricky have someone read it to you.
Don't forget to fill in your reading log.

Here is our read aloud story today.
Now can you remember what happened in the story;

2. Which animal was too grumpy?
3. Which animal was too fierce?
4. Which animal would you want the zoo to give to you?
Arts and Craft
