Tuesday's Lesson

Fitness

Let's start off with a boogie. The freeze dance. Remember to freeze in a funny position.

Maths

For maths today there are 2 activities and a challenge activity.

Can you fill in the missing gaps?

Can you count the objects and write how many there are?

Here is a challenge one if you would like to try it.

Writing

Today for writing you are going to watch the following video called 'Green sheep?' 

This was my boys' favourite book when they were little.

After watching the story, can you draw a picture of green sheep hiding somewhere. Then we are going to write where we think green sheep will be hiding next time.

Your story will start like;

I think Green sheep will be hiding ............

My example is;
I think Green sheep will be hiding in the toy box.

Remember to use;
a capital letter
full stop
finger spaces
listen to our sounds

I can't wait to hear where you think Green sheep will be hiding next time. You could get someone to help you write it in the comments below or send me a photo of your writing.

Reading

For reading I want you to read every night or have someone read to you.

For extra practise I would like you to watch the following videos. The videos are of our sight words. Your challenge is to say the sight words before the teacher does.

For an extra challenge could you watch your words again but this time pause the video and write the word.

I spy

Here is an I Spy

Can you find

* an apple

* tree

*an ant

*a nest

*a table

*a spaceman

and finally can you find something that starts with the letter 's'

Fitness

Let's start the day with some yoga 

Writing

Today for writing we are going to do what we do in class every Monday 'Weekend Writing'

Here are some ideas you could write about;

• what have you been doing in your bubble
• what activities have you done with your family
• how you have helped your family
• any new games you have learnt

Remember to use;

a capital letter

full stop

finger spaces

listen to your sounds

On Saturday the boys went to a party at Jump. They had a great time.

Maths

Watch this video and join in counting. Remember we want to HEAR you counting not just dancing.

Phonics

Here is our yellow phonics card. Can you say the letters and sounds

Reading

Remember to read every night or have someone read to you. 

Here are our sight words. Try and practise them everyday. Your goal is to say it before the lady does. Good luck!

Let's end the day with a paper plane competition. You could get your family to make one as well. 

Here is a video to help you, all you need is some paper.

Once it is made you can go and fly it and see which plane flies further.

We have loved swimming in the pool.

We have been practising entering the pool safely, blowing bubbles, going under the water, kicking and swimming with the boards.

Swimming - Room 4 & 5

Swimming All Week 

22nd-26th February

Room 4 & 5 will be swimming everyday with swim coaches.

Everyday (M,T,W,Th,F) with Swimming Instructors at 11:55-12:25

We will keep togs at school and dry them daily.

You will need to bring your:

• Swimming togs

• Towel 

• And a bag
