Here is a snapshot of what learning looked like in Room 4 this week.

Fitness

We have been working on throwing and catching the bean bags. 

We enjoyed throwing our bean bag to our buddy.

Maths

We were playing a fun game where we had to hide a number and our buddy had to figure out what number was missing.

Finding numbers

Tens Frames

We have been learning about tens frames. Here we are putting stones on them to represent a number.

Counting to 20 forwards and backwards

We are learning to order numbers to 20

Pete the cat

We love playing 'Pete the cat'

Whales

We had a visitor who came to talk to us about the Project Jonah. She talked to us about whales and dolphins. We learnt some really interesting facts. 

Wheels Day

Rimu Assembly

It was so lovely to have an assembly with the rest of the Rimu team.

Play-based learning with Room 5

This Friday we were able to join together with Room 5 and play. We had lots of fun and can't wait until next Friday to do it again.
