Reading at the end of the day

We have been having an extra read at the end of the day.

Remember to read every night to your mum and dad.

Maths

We have been learning to count forwards and backwards in 10's to solve addition and subtractions problems.

 Firewise

We have/will be learning;

- that fires can be dangerous

- how to prevent fires starting

- how to get themselves out of a burning building quickly and safely to a safe meeting place.

What we have learnt so far;

We learnt about different types of fires

We learnt how to behave around a fire

We learnt all about fire

Friday learning

Each child was given a Firewise book. It would be great to go through this booklet on Friday (Teachers only day). It has some great learning in there.

Blends

This term we have been learning our blends.

This week our focus was on 'fr' and 'dr'.
