This week we have been learning about halves and quarters.

On Friday at Play-based Learning with Room 5, we made toast with a buddy and had to cut it in half and share it with our buddy.

Te Reo

This week we were learning how to count to 10 in Te Reo. Well Done Ebenezer, Ruby and Lian for receiving a certificate at Te Reo.

Reading at the end of the day

We have been having an extra read at the end of the day.

Remember to read every night to your mum and dad.

Maths

We have been learning to count forwards and backwards in 10's to solve addition and subtractions problems.

 Firewise

We have/will be learning;

- that fires can be dangerous

- how to prevent fires starting

- how to get themselves out of a burning building quickly and safely to a safe meeting place.

What we have learnt so far;

Friday learning

Each child was given a Firewise book. It would be great to go through this booklet on Friday (Teachers only day). It has some great learning in there.
