Week 9
This week for Maths we have been looking at measurement.
We have been;
*comparing the lengths of two objects
*selecting objects which are about the same length as a given object
*ordering three or more objects by length.

We put ourselves in order from tallest to shortest.
Then we put ourselves in order from shortest to tallest.
Then we had to colour in, cut out and order our gingerbread men from tallest to shortest.
Then the children were given another gingerbread man to colour in and cut out. There job was to find objects around the room that were 'smaller than a gingerbread man, same size as a gingerbread man and bigger than a gingerbread man.
The table is bigger than the gingerbread man
The pencil is the same size as the gingerbread man
The drink bottle is bigger than the gingerbread man
The duster is smaller than the gingerbread man
The house is bigger than the gingerbread man
The gingerbread man is bigger than the stamp.
The gingerbread man is bigger than the rubber.
The paper is bigger than the gingerbread man.
Goofy is bigger than the gingerbread man
Here are our findings
We had a couple of days left to finish off our habitats. We needed to add the animals and to write down what was in our habitat and why.
Here we are finishing them off.
Well Done Maddy for completing 100 nights of reading.
At the end of the day we have been enjoying playing 'Doggy, Doggy who's got your bone'
