Our Habitats
The children were given a problem. The problem was that there was a lot of construction at the zoo when we visited. We needed to plan and design new enclosures for the animals.
In Room 14 the children have been working hard on designing and creating a habitat for a zoo animal.
Our first job was to research what an animal needs in a habitat.
We learnt that animals need water, food, shelter, air and space in order to survive.
Over the last 3 weeks Room 14 have been working on their habitats, here are our finished products.
