Term 4 Week 1
Maths
For maths this week we have been looking at measurement.
We have really enjoyed measuring and comparing different lengths of objects.
We used unifix block to measure different objects in our class.
Using playdough to make snakes. We put them in order from biggest to smallest.

We cut out our hand and then used the blocks to measure how long it is.
We then used the blocks to measure other objects around the class.

Fairy Judy came to give the children their certificate and their prize
Then we thought it would be fun to measure how many blocks it is from one side of the class to the other. It was 433 blocks!!!
Great start to Term 4 Room 4!!!
Wow - you did a LOT of measuring Room 4! I am super impressed you were able to go from one side of the class all the way over to the other wall - 433 blocks, amazing!
ReplyDeleteI loved this update and all these photos, especially the one of Freddie about to hug Fairy Judy :) It also explains why Freddie has been lining things up from biggest to smallest at home.
