A busy first week

What A Busy First Week

Wow, first week down and we were non-stop all week.

We had a visit by 'Fairy Judy'!!!

She came in to congratulate all the children that did their holiday reading. Well Done!

Here are some photos of children receiving their certificate and choosing their reward.

Then we had 'Coach Marcus' from Kiwi ball come and teach us how to play t.ball. 

This was so much fun. We learnt about the bases; base 1, base 2, base 3 and home base and how to run to each one. We also learnt how to hold the bat and how to hit the ball.

We will be having Kiwi ball every Thursday for the next 3 weeks. We cant wait to do it again.

On Friday we were lucky enough to have Kyla (Tobin's mum) come in for Discovery Time.

Kyla brought in an awesome marine map where the children could add; ships, jelly fish, caves etc. They really enjoyed doing this. 

We are hoping Kyla will come in again as this was a lot of fun and opened up a wide range of conversations.
