We had a fantastic time on our trip to Alberton House.

Here we are ready to go to Alberton. We have our bags, hats and smiles ready.
It was a long walk but we did it.
Here is Alberton. What an amazing old house it is. Alberton house is 156 years old and has 18 rooms and beautiful gardens.
We learnt the history of Alberton. Alberton started off as a 2 storey farm house built in 1863. It belonged to Allan Kerr Taylor. We had a great time looking around the old house.

Making butter
We made butter. We had to mix the cream. It was hard and it took a long time. Afterwards we got to taste our butter. It was yummy.
We had a look at some of the old equipment people had to use in 1863.
We really enjoyed the fairy hunt. The fairy houses were beautiful.
