Ngā Ringa Awhina

We speak about Ngā Ringa Awhina as we read our school pepeha so today we decided to go and visit Ngā Ringa Awhina to learn more about it.

Ngā Ringa Awhina is our Piringa (shelter).  It means, "The Helping Hands."  It represents the joining of cultures and is how our Te Reo Māori class came to fruition, from many groups of people, including local iwi and the community.

Ngā Ringa Awhina is our place of learning tikanga Māori.
