Snap shot of Week 5

Here is a snap shot of what we have been up to during Week 5

We have been learning how to count backwards by using a number line. Great work Farhat, Malachi, Parauri.

Some of us have been learning about family of facts.
These are;
4+5=9
5+4=9
9-4=5
9-5=4

Then Stella finished here reading log. This meant she had completed 100 nights of reading. Miss Whysall came in to present Stella with a certificate and Stella got to choose a prize. Well done Stella.

Mrs Fletcher also came in to present Tobin with a birthday present. Happy birthday Tobin-you big 6 year old.

On Friday middle block we were so lucky to go and see a show called 'Turtle and the plastic bag.'
This was such a funny show, and we learnt lots about the environment.
We learnt we should say NO to plastic bags, NO to plastic straws and don't buy water in plastic bottles.

Lastly here are our cute little bees we have been working on. Please come in and check them out.

It has also been Samoan language week. We have learnt;
*how to say hello, how are you, thank you
*ask how you are
*count to 10
*colours
*say goodbye
*the Samoan alphabet - which only has 17 letters.

Here are some links to the videos we have been and enjoying.
