Week 8

Wow Week 8 has come and gone. What a busy week it has been. It was our last week of rehearsals for our Honey production. If you haven't got tickets yet, there is still time!

Here is a snap shot of Week 8

We had another great lesson at PMP

Go Gstaceyah

Here is a little look at some of the activities we get up to during our reading rotation.

Last week Farhat and Ian took Polkadots and Stripes home for the weekend. Here they are sharing their adventures.

This week we have been learning about Matariki.

Here are some ideas we came up with about how we could celebrate Matariki.

Each class was asked to make a cloak to share at our Matariki assembly.

Here we are making ours;

Well done Maddy for getting the Manaakitanga award

HOT DOG TIME

Here we are eating our yummy hot dogs

We celebrated Matariki with Room 2, 3 and 6. We shared some yummy pikelets. Thank you Room 2, 3 and 6 these were delicious.

We continued our Matariki celebrations by making kites and publishing our Matariki writing.

Here are our finished kites. Don't they look amazing

We took our kites outside and had a lot of fun flying them.

Here are some videos of us flying our kites

  1. What a busy week, thanks for sharing. Jack had fun flying his kite at home this weekend. He has also taught us a lot about Matariki. We are really excited about coming to see the Honey production this week.
