Sight words

Today I have added some new sight words. Try and read the sight words in the last 4 videos.

Writing

Today for writing you have to first listen to this story about Pete. It is a funny one.

Today I want you to write about your favourite part of the story.

Remember to use;

a capital letter
full stop
finger spaces
listen to our sounds

My example
My favourite part was when Pete stepped into the pile of strawberries.

Cooking

Yesterday the boys and I made some Gingerbread men.
They were a lot of fun to make and they tasted AMAZING!!!

As you can see they got eaten quickly.

Here is the recipe if you would like to make them.

If you do, take a photo to show me :)

Recipe

125g butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Golden syrup warmed in the microwave

*Cream butter and sugar
*Add dry ingredients
*Add golden syrup and mix into dough
*Roll out on floured board
*Cut shapes then put them on a greased/baking paper tray
*Bake on 180 for 10 minute (check often as they burn quickly)

Enjoy
